There’s something truly magical about golden hour in Kamloops, especially in the spring when the wild balsamroot flowers are in full bloom. That soft, glowing light, the warmth in the air, and the breathtaking views of rolling hills. It all came together for Kaitlyn and Adam’s Kamloops balsamroot engagement session in the most beautiful way.
We met in a quiet field outside the city, where the wild Balsamroot flowers were covering the hillside. Kaitlyn and Adam brought such a sweet, easy connection to their session. From the moment they stepped into the field, it was clear how at home they feel together. Kaitlyn’s light blue dress moved effortlessly in the breeze, and the way Adam looked at her, full of admiration, spoke volumes about the love they share.
Engagement sessions like this are about more than just pretty pictures (though this landscape and sweet couple certainly gave us those). They’re about preserving the feeling of what this season is all about. The excitement of building a life together, the quiet confidence in choosing one another, and the joy of looking ahead toward a shared future.
Kaitlyn and Adam’s fall wedding is sure to be stunning, and I already know it will be filled with the same love and joy that radiated through every moment of this evening. To Kaitlyn and Adam – thank you for inviting me into this chapter. I can’t wait to document what’s next.
